MËSTIZA is a Spanish DJ and producer duo known for blending electronic music with flamenco influences. Formed in 2021, they have become one of Spain’s most distinctive acts, celebrating cultural heritage and femininity within the global club scene. Their work has been featured in El País, El Mundo, Rolling Stone, and DJ Mag.
After more than a decade of individual careers in electronic music, the two artists united to explore their shared musical roots through the Mëstiza project. Their sound fuses club beats, Afro-house, and melodic techno with flamenco instrumentation, drawing inspiration from Spanish folklore and iconography across both their music and visual identity.
In December 2023, they released their debut album “Quëreles” under their independent label Sacro Music, earning critical acclaim for its bold reimagining of flamenco tradition through a modern electronic lens. The album reached #1 on Spain’s official vinyl sales chart.
Since their formation, Mëstiza have performed at leading clubs and festivals worldwide, and in 2025 they became the first female DJ duo to hold a residency at Hï Ibiza.
