Parallelle

French-born Amsterdam-based electronic duo Parallelle have announced a ground-breaking project titled ‘A Day In’. The project will break new ground in the electronic music scene and highlight music creation’s cultural aspect. The ‘A Day In’ series kicked off on the 27th of April and featured electronic music infused with cultural sounds and field recordings from different countries. The project aims to preserve ancient learnings and cultural heritage for the future while shedding light on foreign cultures, communities, ethnicities, instruments, and rhythms. In total, there is 11 short videos, and some are accompanied by a musical release on their label, Klassified. The first 2 track release ‘Essaouira’ was released on the 5th May. Show less
